Camelot House was built in 1926 for Rowan Thayer Segner and is wife Lillian Segner and designed by Kenneth A. Gordon, a local architect who designed many commercial buildings and residences between the 20s and the 60s. The house is located in foothills of the San Gabriel mountains, in the town of Altadena.


The residence reflects the best design and craftsmanship of pre-World War II construction. The interior is over 2500 square feet and the lot size is over 16,000 square feet. Especially notable is the Living Room which has a unique Half Barrel shaped exposed timber ceiling over 13 feet in height.
